Today I’m talking about a group of people we’ve overlooked. Young, middle aged, and old people that live by themselves and don’t have a partner to share their pandemic experiences with.
How is it to be single during this extraordinary year?
How do people meet, when countries, areas announce lockdowns, and stress us to avoid social gatherings?
It’s an incredible stress for many, not being able to meet a potential partner, solely rely on virtual meetings, and if meeting in person, be concerned about the safety to do so. Many singles are more lonely then usual, as their routines of traveling, going to restaurants, persuading their hobbies, and meeting friends isn’t possible in the same way. With the holidays approaching, it is important to pay attention to this group in society that doesn’t have too many, but rather too few people around.
